This is written in plain language on purpose. If any of it is unclear, that is a fault in the writing — tell us and we will fix it.
What we collect
- Your mobile number. It is how you sign in and how the platform knows who you are. There is no way to use BatchCircle without one.
- Your name, and anything else you choose to add to your profile — a photo, a designation, education history. All of that is optional.
- Your email address, if you sign in with Google.
- What you do here: exams you take and their results, courses and centers you join, posts you write, fees recorded against you.
- Technical records needed to keep the service working and safe — sign-in times, the IP address a one-time code was requested from, and error logs.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, or anything from other apps on your phone. There is no advertising tracker on this site.
Why we collect it
Only to run the service you asked for: to sign you in, to show a coaching center the students who joined it, to mark your exams, to record what you have paid, and to keep the platform free of harmful content.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. Nobody buys a list of students from us.
Students under 18
Many people here are school students, and that changes how the platform behaves rather than just what this page says:
- The social feed cannot be read without an account. A public, crawlable feed of school children's conversation would be searchable by their names for the rest of their lives, and no later moderation undoes that.
- The people directory excludes accounts a center created but nobody has claimed, so we never publish a list of names that no one agreed to.
- Parent features require a verified date of birth and a minimum age.
If you are a parent and want a child's account removed, write to [email protected] from any number and we will verify and act on it.
Who can see what
- A coaching center sees the students who joined it — attendance, results and fees for that center only. It does not see your activity anywhere else on BatchCircle.
- A private teacher sees the students who accepted them, and the fees agreed between you. Nothing else on your account.
- Other users see what your profile visibility settings allow. You control that field by field in your settings.
- Nobody is added to a center or a teacher's list without accepting it first. Being added is a request, never a fact.
Payments
BatchCircle never sees your bKash PIN or your account number. Payment happens on bKash's own page; we receive only a transaction reference telling us the payment succeeded.
Money you pay a coaching center or a private teacher does not pass through us at all. That is between you and them; we only record that it happened so both sides have the same account of it.
SMS and messages
We send a text when you sign in for the first time, to confirm your number. Beyond that, SMS updates are something you opt into by subscribing — and you can turn them off at any time in your settings while keeping everything else.
We do not send marketing texts, and we do not give your number to anyone who will.
How long we keep it
- Your account and its records stay while the account exists.
- Fee records are kept even after an arrangement ends, because they are the evidence in any dispute about what was paid.
- Content removed by a moderator is hidden, not deleted, with a record of who removed it and why — so "I removed this" and "a moderator removed this" remain different answers.
- A permanently banned phone number is kept on a block list after the account is gone. Otherwise deleting the account would undo the ban.
Your choices
- Edit or remove most profile information yourself, at any time.
- Control who sees each field of your profile.
- Turn SMS alerts off without losing anything else.
- Ask for your account to be deleted by writing to [email protected].
